Hi, Karibu Kwetu.
Kwetu is a Swahili word for “our home". Naturally, our homes are full of stories worth telling, feeling, and remembering. Through photography and storytelling, we find joy in telling and preserving these moments, moments that speak of courage, discovery, beauty, and the will to live fully.
We are with the curious, the empathetic, those who dare to explore, those who keep going, and those who find meaning in the journey. We express that spirit through pieces of art that do more than show a place; they invite you to see what lies beyond the obvious and allow you to take a piece of that story with you.
“Perhaps then you will gradually without noticing it, live your way into the answer”
The Artist
Hi, I’m Frank.
Frank Chacha to be exact, a photographer and videographer drawn to storytelling and the will “to be.”
I explore life with curiosity, looking beyond the obvious to find deeper meaning in everyday moments, and telling these stories through creative visuals.
Kwetu is an extension of this perspective, a way to acknowledge my own being, and the being of others through photography and storytelling.
Personally, I genuinely hope we find a cure for cancer. But while we’re at it, I think we should occasionally take a moment to appreciate every single breath we take, in whatever way we can.
Hope that makes sense.
